Why is my rental not accepted upon return?
- There are several possible reasons why your DVD is not accepted, some of which have to do with the case, some with the DVD itself or with the RFID tags.
- Some of the reasons may be:
- The DVD case is damaged and cannot enter the slot. Our Kiosk uses the strips marked Do Not Tamper on the outside of the case to recognize our cases. If these strips are damaged or missing, the kiosk may not accept the DVD case.
- The RFID tag cannot be read. Our kiosk uses Radio Frequency ID tags instead of barcodes. They are placed on the inner circle of your disc under the “Do Not Remove Signature” sticker displayed in the center of the disc. If tampered with or removed, the disc may not be read because the tag was damaged.
- The incorrect movie is in the case. Make sure that the actual disc you rented is in the case provided.
- The disc is not ours. Please be sure you are returning an INSTAFLIX title to our kiosk. We cannot accept DVDs from other kiosk companies. Our logo and phone number are on the inner circle of our discs.
- There is a problem with the kiosk.
- If your return is not accepted, please call us immediately at 1-877-FLIX NOW or 1-877-354-9669. We will help determine why your rental is not being accepted and stop any excess charges. We can't help if you don't call, so please call right away!

We cannot be responsible for other discs from other companies in our kiosks, so please be careful to only return our discs to our kiosks.
Why am I not receiving any receipts?

If you are not asked for an email address, please call our Customer Service team for assistance at 1-877-FLIX NOW.
